How to set your default E-mail Client:
1. Select Windows Start > Settings >
Control Panel.
2. Double-click the Internet Options icon.
3. Select the Programs tab.
4. Select Outlook Express(Recommended) for email then click OK and exit out of
Control Panel.

Setting either of these as your default E-mail
client will enable its MAPI client to work with Ambiance.

Go to Tools
then Options from the top menu bar. Click on the General tab at the top of the
window that opens and check off “Make Outlook Express my default e-mail
program” then check off “Make Outlook Express my default Simple MAPI
client”. This will set it to work with Ambiance.

Please verify that you are running this exact
version of Outlook Express. If you open Outlook Express and click on Help then
About Outlook Express you will see the long version number if you have version
5.00.2615.200 you will need to go to Windows Update (click on your Start button
then Windows Update, this will take you to the Windows update web page, go to
the Product Updates link and select Outlook Express 5 update and download it to
upgrade to the latest version).
Eudora Pro 4.0

Click on Tools then Options from the top
menu bar. In the window that opens, scroll down the left side to the mapi icon
and select it. Check off “Always” under “Use Eudora MAPI server” and uncheck
“Send single MAPI file attachment as inline attachment (TXT and HTML files
only). And that will setup Eudora Pro to be used with Ambiance.
Netscape Communicator 4.72

Click preferences from the top menu bar. Click on
“Mail and Newsgroups” than on the bottom right you will see “Use Netscape
Messenger from MAPI-based applications” check that off and hit OK. You will now
be able to use Ambiance to send e-mail.
Still cannot get it to work:
·Click the start button
·Click on run
·Type fixmapi.exe
Make sure you don't use Microsoft Outlook as it could damage the mapi client for
that.
When all else fails we have
created a link so you can simply add the listing number at the end of this URL
copy and paste it into your e-mail program.
